Agreement
These terms cover getmetabridge.com and the MetaBridge Shopify app operated by Evan Blair, doing business as MetaBridge, in Utah, United States. By using the site, joining the waitlist, or installing the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What MetaBridge is
MetaBridge maps Shopify customer metafields that you choose to Klaviyo profile properties. It is in closed beta. Pilots are invited and currently use Shopify custom distribution, not a public App Store listing. Features, availability, and pricing can change as the product is built.
Who may use it
You must be a Shopify merchant (or someone authorized by that merchant) and old enough to form a contract. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to sync customer data to Klaviyo, and for the mappings you turn on.
Closed beta and custom distribution
Closed-beta access is by invitation. Custom-distribution installs are limited the way Shopify defines them (one store, or stores in one Plus organization, per custom app). This path does not use Shopify app billing today. There is no paid subscription to accept on this website.
Your responsibilities
- Keep Shopify and Klaviyo credentials under your control and scoped to the sync you authorize.
- Review a dry run before you allow live writes, when that preview is available.
- Do not use MetaBridge to send spam, violate Klaviyo or Shopify rules, or process data you are not allowed to process.
- Do not attempt to break, scrape, or overload the site or app.
Our responsibilities
We will try to keep the service available and to handle data as described in the Privacy Policy. Closed beta means the product may have bugs, incomplete surfaces, or downtime. We do not promise uninterrupted service or that every metafield type will map perfectly on the first try.
Fees
Pilots are not charged today. Planned early-access pricing, if paid billing launches, is described on the homepage and in the refund policy. Shopify App Store billing, if enabled later, will follow Shopify's charge and cancellation tools.
Intellectual property
MetaBridge's name, site copy, and software are owned by Evan Blair / MetaBridge. You keep your store data, mappings you create, and your Shopify and Klaviyo accounts. Shopify and Klaviyo names are used only to describe interoperability. MetaBridge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify or Klaviyo.
Disclaimer
The site and app are provided as-is for a closed beta. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee specific revenue, deliverability, or marketing results from synced properties.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, MetaBridge and Evan Blair are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from use of the site or app. Our total liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for MetaBridge in the 12 months before the claim, which is currently zero for invited pilots. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those limits apply only as far as the law allows.
Termination
You can stop using the site at any time. You can uninstall the app to revoke API access. We can suspend or end a beta invite if the install is misused or if we discontinue the beta. After uninstall or a Shopify shop/redact request, we delete or anonymize shop-linked customer data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Utah and U.S. consumer note
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that you keep any non-waivable protections that apply where you live. If you are a consumer in Utah or elsewhere in the United States, you may have additional rights under state and federal consumer-protection laws. Changes
We may update these terms as the product moves from closed beta toward paid billing or an App Store listing. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
